Tommy Douglas Campaign for Health Studies at the University of Toronto

“Not until the creation and maintenance of decent conditions of life for all people are recognized and accepted as a common obligation of all people and all countries - not until then shall we, with a certain degree of justification, be able to speak of humankind as civilized.”

Albert Einstein, 1945.

Your Donations Make a Difference

Our objective is to build on the progressive foundations of the current program. We will add teaching capacity, courses, scholarships, undergraduate research opportunities, and community outreach initiatives locally, nationally and international, to ensure that our graduates are well equipped to promote social change and public health in the years ahead.

Thus, we are seeking private contributions for the public good. Your gift will help to educate young leaders with a deep understanding of the role of health in maintaining and promoting prosperous Canadian communities and global societies. Click here to download a more comprehensive summary of how your gift to the Tommy Douglas Fund will support the Health Studies Program.

We would be happy to accept your gift to the Health Studies Program. In particular we are seeking your contributions in honour of the introduction of publicly funded universal health care in Saskatchewan in 1962 under the leadership of Tommy Douglas. So, for example, your monthly contribution of $19.62 help will ensure the academic excellence of the Health Studies Program. There are a variety of methods you can use to end us a gift:

  1. Click Here to download a Contribution Form for the Tommy Douglas Fund in Health Studies that you can mail or fax back to us;
  2. Click Here to go to our web site where you can make a gift directly online;
  3. Contact us at University College by calling 416-978-2968 or email us at info@bringbacktommy.ca
