Student Life
The cross-fertilization of ideas between students and faculty with diverse knowledge and backgrounds is a fundamental aspect of the academic environment of the University of Toronto and in the Health Studies Program. We actively seek students from diverse backgrounds, with different perspectives and with distinct interests to enroll in the Health Studies Program.
 |
The Health Studies Program enhances the perspectives of our students by providing unique opportunities to learn in different environments. We have organized trips to Guatemala and to Cuba to directly study the conditions that effect the health of people in global communities. Our students also learn first hand why different communities in Toronto and Canada have distinct health outcomes.

The Health Studies Student Union (HSSU), plays an important role in the Health Studies Program. The HSSU organizes academic talks, a film series as well as a host of social and cultural events. To learn more about the HSSU and to get involved, please click here.
